Sigh

Oh how I am obsessing over short platinum locks. Some day when I'm brave enough I will take a cue from these two lovely ladies, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan. They prove short hair can still be versatile and suprisingly quite feminine.

hair how-to: side chignon

You may have seen this hair how-to floating around the blog-world but I couldn't help but share! This is a simple, elegant side chignon. Very classic and super chic.
1.} Start by spraying hair with Tonic Lotion followed by Thickening Hairspray. Use a round brush to blow dry hair smooth. You could also do this style on second-day (or dare I say) third-day hair.
2.} Once completely dry use a large-barrel (around 1"to 1 1/2") to create waves from ears down.
3.} Tease the hair gently at the crown to create volume and height. Spray with Classic Hairspray.
4.} Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.
5.} Once you've twisted to your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls. Pin them back over the twist.
6.} Finish with Classic Hairspray. Voila!

Body Coffee

With Spring Break right around the corner now is the time to get your body swimsuit ready! Let your worries fade away with our BodyCoffee anti-cellulite detoxifying body wrap. It begins with exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and soften rough patches. Next you will be wrapped in the healing confines of a detoxifying body wrap. Green coffee extract naturally expels environmental build-up that triggers cellulite and uneven skin texture. A warm shower rinses it all away and is followed by a light massage with energizing body lotion or oil. This treatment restores blood flow and circulation. You will emerge rejuvenated and renewed! Your skin will feel smoother and firmer, regular treatments can diminish the appearance of cellulite and other skin irregularities.

Academy Awards Hair

Award season is coming to an end, but the fashion and hair styles will be recreated for months to come. I was suprised to see quite a few short hair cuts at the Academy Awards. It reminded me short hair can be fun AND sexy! We are obsessed with Michelles cute pixie cut, she totally rocks it!

And Cate looks GORGEOUS with her new short 'do! We are also loving the beige-blonde color.

Scarlett's textured bob is fun and playful. The golden blonde is a huge trend for spring and really complements her skin tone.

Gwyneth kept it simple and chic with a simple center part and straight hair. Classic!

Natalie and Mila gave a nod to the 40's with their beautiful side-swept waves (Also a huge trend).

And let's not forget the men! This season is all about keeping it handsome and classic, a huge influence from the 50's and 60's. Find a hair how-to here.
